How do you fix a stuck or constantly running toilet flush valve seal at home?
My bathroom toilet keeps making a continuous running water sound hours after flushing. Is there an easy way to diagnose the internal tank flap without calling a plumber?

Open the tank lid and check the rubber flapper chain. If it is too tight or tangled, it keeps the seal slightly open. If the chain is fine, the rubber flapper itself has accumulated mineral deposits and simply needs a quick wipe clean or replacement.
