How do you safely remove deep candle wax spills from a wool fabric rug?
A burning candle tipped over and left a huge solid block of red wax deep in my living room wool carpet. How do you lift it without melting fibers?

Place a clean brown paper bag or thin cotton towel directly over the dry wax block. Run a household clothing iron on low heat over the paper; the wax will melt and absorb upward.
