My Instagram followers stopped growing. What am I doing wrong?
I've been posting consistently on Instagram for 6 months. I'm at 2,400 followers and it hasn't budged in weeks. I post reels, use hashtags, post at what I think are good times. I'm starting to feel like I'm wasting my time. Any advice?

Consistency alone doesn't grow accounts — strategy does. Here's what's probably wrong. First, your hashtag strategy is likely outdated. Using 30 random hashtags does nothing now. Use 5-10 highly relevant ones and focus on content that gets shares and saves, because that's what the algorithm rewards in 2024. Second, are your reels actually hooking people in the first 1-2 seconds? If people swipe past immediately, the algorithm buries your content. Start with a bold statement or visual that stops the scroll. Third, check your content mix — if you're only posting one type of content, you're limiting your reach. Alternate between reels, carousels, and stories. Fourth, engage before and after you post. Spend 15 minutes commenting genuinely on accounts in your niche. This puts you in front of their followers. Finally, post consistently but also analyze what's working — double down on your top-performing content type. Growth plateaus are normal; they break when you optimize, not when you post more.
