My Shopify store isn't converting

I launched my Shopify store 3 weeks ago. I'm getting traffic from Facebook ads but nobody is buying. I've had about 500 visitors and zero sales. The site looks professional. What's wrong?

Traffic without sales usually means a trust or pricing problem, not a traffic problem. First, check your product pages — do you have clear photos from multiple angles, a detailed description, size guides, and customer reviews (even if you have to offer free samples to friends for honest reviews)? New stores with no reviews scare people away. Second, look at your pricing — compare to 3-5 competitors. If you're more expensive with no clear reason why, people won't buy. Third, add trust signals: a clear return policy, SSL badge, "Secure Checkout" messaging, and an About page. People need to trust you before they spend money on an unknown store. Fourth, are you running retargeting ads? Most people won't buy on the first visit. Set up a Facebook pixel and retarget visitors with a discount code. Fifth, simplify your checkout — every extra field kills conversions. Use Shopify's one-page checkout if possible. Test these and you should see sales within a week or two.
