Why does my iPhone 15 battery drain so fast after iOS 17 update
Ever since I updated to iOS 17.4 my iPhone 15 battery has been terrible. I used to get through the whole day easily but now I'm hitting 20% by 3pm. I don't think I changed anything in my settings. Is this a known bug or is something wrong with my phone?

You're definitely not alone — tons of people reported this exact issue after the iOS 17.4 update. Apple actually acknowledged it and pushed a fix in iOS 17.4.1, so make sure you're on the latest version. If you already are, try these steps.
First, go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health & Charging and check if anything looks abnormal. Then go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services and look at System Services. Disable things like "Significant Locations" and "Location-Based Apple Ads" — these run constantly in the background.
Also check Settings > General > Background App Refresh and turn it off for apps you don't need updating in the background. The biggest battery killer after that update was a bug with certain widgets, so try removing any third-party widgets from your home screen temporarily.
If none of that helps, do a full reset: Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset All Settings. This won't delete your data but will reset all preferences. It's annoying but it usually fixes stubborn battery drain issues.
